Today’s regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors was held in the Board Chambers. Seating was limited to separate chairs by at least 6 feet. And video conferencing was set up along with conference phones to facilitate public participation in absentia. We did handle some regular business today, but for this Board Report I will forgo mentioning these things (click here to view today’s full agenda) and focus on the COVID-19 Emergency.
Regarding COVID-19, our day started with a report from our Public Health Official Dr. Karen Relucio where she shared the latest news such as a drive-thru testing site coming in the next few days (by doctor order) and a new directive coming shortly to ban all gatherings of over 50 people (see presentation).
